Yes, it is normal for the motor to feel warm during use. However, if it becomes excessively hot, you should take some precautions.


How can I prevent the motor from overheating?

To avoid excessive heat buildup:

  • Keep some space between the motor and your body. A finger’s distance is recommended to prevent heat accumulation.
  • Take breaks if you feel the motor getting too hot.


What should I do if the motor gets too hot?

If the motor temperature feels too high:

  1. Check your firmware version – update to firmware 1.4.2 if you haven’t already.
  2. Enable Overheat Protection – in the Hypershell+ app, turn on the Overheat Protection Control function. This helps regulate the motor’s temperature automatically.


How do I update my firmware and enable Overheat Protection?

  • Open the Hypershell+ app and check for firmware updates. Install version 1.4.2 if available.
  • Navigate to Device Settings and turn on Overheat Protection Control.
